I don’t wish to be one of these princesses, I wish to be able to take control of my own life and create my own fairytale. That is what I want in life; not to become a doctor or engineer. My dream is not to have 2.1 kids with a dog and nice husband with a steady job. Sure those things are great and are something to work towards, but so what if my fairy tale ending is not stereotypical. I’m sure I will get by just fine in the end.
